David McCullagh is joined by Liam O'Brien RTE Documentary maker, David Ryan, former Blackrock student, and Aidan Moore, former Willow Park student; to discuss he sentencing of Peter Kelly on Monday 08th of December 2025 for sexual abuse.

Kelly (73) was sentenced to a total of 10 years imprisonment at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court on Monday for the sexual abuse of eight boys at the school in the early to mid-1980s.
Aiden Moore said the decision “enables us all to move on in some way,” adding that he finds comfort in knowing no other child is at risk. He acknowledged that going to court is a difficult process but emphasised that once a victim/ survivor goes through it, healing can begin. David Ryan described the outcome as bittersweet, though welcomed the fact that Kelly has now been sentenced.
Justice Michael McGrath noted that the scale of the Commission of Investigation into the Handling of Historical Child Sexual Abuse in Schools is becoming increasingly apparent. Meanwhile, Ivana Bacik is bringing a civil liabilities bill before the Dáil to prevent religious orders from withholding assets from the investigative process.
