08.11.2022 – Group Meeting Update
Recently we had a Support, Information and Advocacy evening in Drogheda. From that meeting it was established that many want to push again for a Commission of Investigation. In order to do this, it has been agreed that victims and survivors would go away and think about participating in either face-to-face or audio interviews for a website and social media victim led campaign; victims and survivors also said they would be interested engaging with an academic with regards to how to gather all their evidence on record in a published report; it has also been agreed that a focused political lobbying campaign should start in the run up to the next elections in two years seeking a Commission of Investigation.
We would like as many of you as possible to be part of this victim led campaign journey. If you are interested in any or all of this work please come to our next meeting in the Spring 2023. We will inform you of the date in January. We will of course continue to work with everyone on the civil and criminal processes and provide any support required.
